You would be forgiven for thinking you might need a phD in chemistry to shoose a skin treatment these days! As well as basic moisturizers, there are a whole host of special treatments, serums and gels that are designed to treat specific problems.

You will find that special skin treatments come in all shape and sizes and in various formulations.

Serums and gels

These products have an ultra-light formulation, a non-greasy texure and a high concentration of active infregients. They are not usually designed to be used on their own, except on oily skins. They are genrally applied under a moisturizer to enhance its benefits and boost the anti-ageing process.

Skin Firmers

These creams are disigned to tighten, form and smooth your skin. They work by forming an ultra-fine film on the skin, which tightens your complexion and reduces the appearance of fine lines. The effects last for a few hours, and makeup can easily be applied on top.

Skin energizers

Speed up the natural production and repair of your skin cells with these creams that contain special ingredients. As well as producing a fresher, younger-looking skin, skin energizers are also thought to help combat the signs of ageing.

Ampule Treatments

These special treatments are very concentrated active ingredients contained in sealed glass phials or ampules, to ensure that they are completely fresh. Typical extracts inculde herbs, wheat germ, vitamins and collagen - used for their intensive and fast-acting results. Vitamin E is another great, natural skin saver and healer.
