Applying Mascara - How to Apply Mascara

Most women prefer the liquid mascara that you apply with a wand, as it is less messy than the solid cake varieties of eye mascaras. If you choose the type with added fibres to thicken eye lashes, you may need an eyelash comb to remove bits that stick in the wrong places. A mascara without added fibres is normally sufficient, if applied correctly to make eye lashes look long and lustrous. Try and eyelash curler used in conjuction with lots of mascara.

Applying Mascara

1. Apply mascara on your upper lashes and use the tip of the mascara wand to coat your lower lashes.

2. You need to apply two thin coats of black or brown mascara to create a wonderful frame to your eyes.

3. Place your eyelashes between the edges of a curler and gently squeeze for a few seconds and then apply mascara.

4. Apply a coat of mascara to your lashes, taking care to colour your lower lashes as well as your upper ones. Use the tip of the mascara wand to coat the lashes.

5. Keep mascara to a minimum. Chose a natural-looking brown or black shade while applying mascara.

6. Use waterproof mascara for application and always remove mascara before going to bed.
